Position Title:              GENERAL LABOR

Shift time:                   6:30am – 4:45pm (Tuesday to Friday)  Till June

6:30am – 3:00pm (Monday to Friday ) From July

Location:                     575 Oster Lane, Vaughan, ON, L4K 2B9

Status:                         Permanent- Full/Time

Overview

The general labor carry out various tasks related to the processing of our products, while maintaining all requirements as per Standard Operating Procedures, Health & Safety protocols, General Manufacturing Practices and comply with all Company Policies.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for following company Health & Safety standards at all times.
• Perform various tasks on production lines including but no limited to rolling of dough, placing of sausages, transferring product to packaging material, packing, inspection duties etc.
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Responsible for the product quality and reporting any quality issues.
• Report any food safety hazards to the Group Lead/Production Supervisor.
• Responsible for following of Good Manufacturing Practices & pre-requisite programs.
• Responsible for maintaining work area and ensuring the work area is clean and free of hazards
• Reports any and all equipment malfunctions immediately to Group Lead/Production Supervisor
• Perform all related tasks requested by your immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

• This position requires manual dexterity.
• Able to work in a refrigerated, cold climate. (5-8 deg. C)
• Able to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• Able to perform repeated tasks.
• Demonstrate punctuality and a good attendance record.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.

Working Conditions Notations

• Flexible hours as needed.
• Availability to work weekends as needed.
