Job location: Edmonton, AB
Salary: $15.00/hr, permanent full time 40-44 hours/week
Employment conditions: Day, evening, night, overtime, flexible hours
Vacancy: 1 and needed as soon as possible

Education: college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate from a program of 3 mos or less than 1 year or equivalent experience

Transportation and travel information:
Willing to travel regularly, public transportation available

Work location information:
Urban area. Work in employer’s/ client home

credential: Emergency child care first aid and CPR
Work conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Repetivtive tasks, Work under pressure, physically demanding

Personal Suitability: Have initiative, organize, flexible, client focus,reliable and has good judgment and interpersonal effectivity

Additional Skills: Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Shop foo and household supplies. Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties. Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens

Experience with Special Needs Children:
children with learning disabilities, children with genetic disorder

Specific Skills:
Bathe, dress and feed child. Discipline child according to the methods requested by parents. Prepare child for rest period and keep records of daily activities and health information regarding child. Prepare pureed food and regular food for child. Maintain safe and healthy environment in the home. Take child to and from school, and to appointments. Tend to emotional well-being of children, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development. Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
