Description

We have an opening for Cook (6322) at our “Nodo Leslieville”
restaurant (2666524 Ontario Inc.) located at 1192 Queen Street
E, Toronto, ON M4M 1L4. A fast-paced environment for a teamoriented
person. Responsibilities will include preparing food for
in restaurant and take out while following all food safety
guidelines and product standards.
COVID-19 considerations:
We operate in a safe environment and follow all protocols to
keep our team and guests safe. These protocols include barriers,
masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer just to name a few.
Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: Completion of Secondary school or equivalent
experience.
Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience.
Cuisine: Italian

Job Duties:
◦ Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
◦ Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food
requirements and costs
◦ Monitor and order supplies, Inspect kitchens and food service areas
◦ Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
◦ Order supplies and equipment
◦ Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
◦ Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

◦ Clean kitchen and work areas
◦ Manage kitchen operations
◦ Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced
environment, physically demanding, Standing for extended
periods, Repetitive tasks, Work under pressure, Overtime
required, Handling heavy loads
