Description
We are looking for well experienced Chef for Bar George located 1440, rue Drummond Montréal, QC H3G 1V9, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guide junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating
- Oversee and inspect cooking operations of the restaurant
- Oversee and organize kitchen stock and ingredients
- Supervise all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards
- Create recipes and plan menu
- Analyze the cost of the recipes to establish a recommended price
- Ensure first-in, first-out food rotation system and verify all food products are correctly dated and organized for quality assurance
- Assist in hiring new kitchen employees
- Train new kitchen staff
- Coordinate with the restaurant management team on supply orders, budget, and kitchen efficiency and staffing
- Advise customers about various catering and special orders
Prerequisites:
Education: Some high school or equivalent.
Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $ 19 to $ 24 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
