Child caregiver – private home (Permanent employment, Full time 30 to 40 hours / week)

SALEK FAMILY

Location: North York, ON

Salary: $17.00 to $17.50 / hour (To be negotiated)

Vacancies: 1 vacancy

Start date: As soon as possible

Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Public transportation is available

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Scent free

 

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for our child. Bathe, dress and feed our child, Discipline our child according to the methods requested by the parents, Prepare our child for rest periods, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Additional Skills: Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties

 

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Personal Suitability: Initiative, Organized, Judgement, Flexibility, Reliability, Team player, Effective interpersonal skills, Client focus

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
