Child caregiver – private home (Permanent employment, Full time 30 to 40 hours / week)

Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $15.00 to $16.00 / hour (To be negotiated)

Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Public transportation is available

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Scent free

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for child ,Bathe, dress and feed our child Organize, activities such as games and outings for a child, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Prepare our child  for rest periods, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of a child.

Additional Skills: Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Personal Suitability: Initiative, Organized, Flexibility, Reliability, Effective interpersonal skills, Client focus

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
