Job Title: Cook (NOC: 6322)

Employer: Residence De L’Harmonie

Location: 106 Providence Rue, Shediac, NB E4P 2N1

Wage: 13.50 /hr for 40 hrs per week

Vacancy:  1 vacancy

Terms of employment: Permanent, full time

Start Date: as soon as possible

Job Requirements:

Languages

• English or French

Education

·       Minimum High School certificate

·       Completion of programs for cook is an asset.

Experience

• At least 2yrs. to 3 years of work experience as a cook or any related field.

Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work area
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Hire and train kitchen staff.
