Job Duties:
- Plant, fertilize, cultivate, spray, irrigate and harvest crops
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment – combines, tractors, seeders, etc.
- Detect disease and health problems in crops and report to manager
- Examine produce for quality and prepare for market
- Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature
- Clean yard, quonset and grain bins
Job Requirements:
- Punctual
- Physically fit
- Able to read English
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Mechanically inclined
- Farm equipment operator experience is an asset
- Drivers license is an asset
- Understanding of technology
