WANTED:  FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR

Location:   Bubble Tea Brewers Cochrane AB, 122 4th Avenue West Bay 8 , Cochrane, AB T4C 0A4

Salary:   $18.50 / Hour

Vacancies:   1

Terms of employment:   Permanent employment, Full time, 30 to 40 Hours / Week

Start date:   As soon as possible

Employment conditions:   Overtime, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours

Languages:   English

Education:   Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience:  1 year to less than 2 years

Ability to Supervise:  3-4 people

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:  Work under pressure, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Work Location Information:  On-site customer service

Work Site Environment:  Noisy, Odours, Wet/damp

Personal Suitability:  Team player, Effective interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Excellent oral communication, Client focus

Additional Skills:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Train staff in job duties
  • sanitation and safety procedures
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns

Specific Skills:

  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
  • Ensure food service and quality control
  • Maintain records of stock
  • repairs, sales and wastage, Establish work schedules

Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession

Workers Supervised: Food service counter attendants and food preparers

Credentials:  Safe Food Handling certificate, Food Safety Certificate (may be obtained before start of employment)
