Location: 1170 Canoeview Pl suite B 819 Valemount, BC V0E 2Z0

Salary: $26.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
• Transport raw materials, finished products and scrap materials through the plant
• Feed conveyors, crushers and other equipment
• Skim dross from furnaces
• Sort, stack, bundle and stamp materials
• Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks; Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Manual dexterity

Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Workplace information: On site. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Noisy; Dusty; Outdoors

Work setting: Mineral ore and metals processing plant
