Job description:
485975 B.C. Ltd. DBA Sussex Insurance is hiring one full time Insurance Agent to join their team.
Job duties:
- Sell various type of insurance policies including automobile, travel, property, marine and business insurance.
- Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients.
- Maintain the records and handles the policies renewals.
- Establish client insurance coverage, calculate premiums and establish method of payment.
- Run quoting software and pre-fill applications.
- Contact the policyholders to deliver and explain policy, to analyze insurance program and suggest additions or changes, or to change beneficiaries.
- Ensure appropriate forms, and other policy requirements are completed.
- Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients’ enquiries
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of high school is required.
- Licensure by the insurance governing body in the province or territory of employment is required.
