Position Info:
- Position: Chef
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $28.00~$30.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 1
- Work Location: 1128 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 1B2
Benefits:
- 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay
- 5 days of paid sick leave per year
Job Duties:
- Supervise cooks and kitchen staff
- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
- Estimate food requirements, and requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
- Train cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
- Create menus and new recipes
- Recruit and hire cooks and kitchen staff
Job requirements:
- Language: English
- Experience: 2~3 years of experience of commercial cooking are required
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
