Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $16.50~$19.50/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 513 Fisgard Street, Victoria, BC V8W 1R3

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Monitor kitchen operations
• Prepare and cook entire meals or individual dishes
• Ensure kitchens and food preparation areas clean and sanitized
• Supervise kitchen assistants
• Maintain inventory and order food ingredients, kitchen supplies, and equipment
• May involve in hiring and training kitchen staff in food preparation and handling of food
• May plan menus, decide the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
