Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $16.25~$20.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  3

·         Work Location: 1031 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC V5V 3C7

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

·         5 days of paid sick leave per year

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food.

·         Schedule, train and supervise kitchen helpers.

·         Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and oversee kitchen operations.

·         Estimate food requirements and costs.

·         Inspect kitchen and food service area.

·         May involve in the recruitment and hiring of new staff.

·         Clean work areas, including the kitchen.

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2~3 years of experience in commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
