F/T Japanese Food Cook (9917 Main St., Summerland)
Just Delicious Bistro Ltd. (Just Delicious Japanese Bistro) is seeking a fulltime Japanese Food Cook at our restaurant in Summerland.
Job Description/Duties:
- Prepare and cook individual authentic Japanese dishes/food
- Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer etc.)
- Ensure quality of food and determine size of food portions
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas
- Monitor food stocks and kitchen supplies
- Train new kitchen staffs
Education:
- Completion of secondary school
Skills and Experience:
- 3 years of commercial cooking experience at Japanese restaurant is required
Language:
- Communication skills in English
Compensation:
- $16-$17/hour, 35-40hrs/week, 4% vacation pay
- Overtimes are paid at 1.5 rate for hours exceeding 40 hours in any given week
