Job Description:
Malhi Hair & Beauty Salon located at 15299 68 Ave, Surrey BC is hiring two Hairstylists for full-time and permanent positions.
The suitable candidates must perform the following duties:
- Suggest suitable hair styles based on client's physical features or determine style from client's instructions and preferences.
- Style customer’s hair by cutting, bleaching, tinting, dying, trimming, curling, coloring, perming, blow drying, ironing and tapering.
- Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to color, frost or streak hair
- Customer consultation like analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair
- Clean and style wigs and hair pieces
- Extend or style client’s hair with artificial hair styling materials.
- May shampoo and rinse hair.
- Clean and organize hair styling equipments.
- Book appointments perform cashier and receptionist duties when required
- May train or supervise other hairstylists, hairstylist apprentices and helpers.
Job Requirement:
- Completion of secondary school.
- 2-3 years of related work experience is required.
