Location:  1170 Canoe View PIace Valemount, BC V0E 2Z0

Salary:  $19.00 / hour for 30 hours / week

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Setting: Rural area; Hotel, motel, resort (Less than 50 rooms)

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s license

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Tight deadlines; Work under pressure; Repetitive tasks; Attention to detail; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods; Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Bending, crouching, kneeling

Responsibilities

Tasks:

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Dust furniture
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Stock linen closet
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
• Provide basic information on facilities
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Launder clothing and household linens
