Position Info:

• Position: Baker
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $17.00~$20.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 1399 West 7th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6H 1B8

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepare dough for bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for cookies and cakes, and icing and frostings according to recipes standards
• Make sure that the product quality meets established standards
• Decorate the cakes and other baked goods
• Baked mixed doughs and batters
• Establish production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods
• Maintain and organize inventory, and purchase baking supplies
• May train and supervise kitchen staff in preparation, baking and handling of food

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial baking experience are required.
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
• Language: English
