Home Child Care Provider (Permanent employment

Full time / 30 to 40 hours per Week)

Job details

Location: Oakville, ON

Workplace information: On site. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work setting: Employer's home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Public transportation is available 

Salary: 20.00 hourly Starts as soon as possible

Vacancies: 1 vacancy

Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children

 

Tasks

Supervise and care for children. Change diapers. Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Bathe, dress and feed infants and children. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development. Organize, activities such as games and outings for children

Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Prepare infants and children for rest periods

 

Job Requirements 

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

or equivalent experience

Experience: Experience an asset

Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Security and safety: Criminal record check

Personal suitability: Client focus, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility

Initiative, Organized, Time management, Patience, Honesty
