Description
We are looking for one responsible caregiver to help take care of our elderly parents in Etobicoke, ON.
Work in employer’s/client’s home, Public transportation is available, Willing to travel, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is not a condition of employment
Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent, Day, Evening, Flexible,
Wage: $21Hour @ 30 – 44 hours per week
Education: Secondary (high) School Certificate, College or other courses related in home support
Work experience: 6 months experience is preferred , Vulnerable sector check required
Target Audience: Persons with a disability, Females,Males, Elderly
Languages: English
Job duties: Administer bedside and personal care, Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder), Feed or assist in feeding, Shop for food and household supplies, Provide personal care, Provide companionship, Plan therapeutic diets and menus, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
