We are currently looking for a Welder to join the team based out of Sarnia Ontario. The Welder will operate welding equipment to weld ferrous and non-ferrous metals to meet client and project requirements.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and interpret welding process specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using various processes
- Operate brazing and soldering equipment
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines
- Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Welder required;
- Must be well organized and punctual;
- Ability to interact with people effectively and in a professional manner;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
