Job Duties:

• Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or performing services for customers.
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff.
• Authorize return of merchandise
• Sell merchandise.
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages.
• Maintain and follow proper health and safety standards, practice cleanliness and maintain proper store image and displays.
• May perform managerial duties such as opening and closing of the store and implementing new marketing strategies.
