Cook Supervisor

Description

Gateway to India Restaurant located in heart of Downtown Nanaimo BC, is looking for 1 cook supervisor with an experience of 2 year to less than 3 years. Job requirements are as below. Language requirement is English.
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance’s.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Manage kitchen operations and inspect kitchens and food service areas.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
