Job Position: Meat Cutter – Wholesale (NOC 65202)
Location: 705 Middlefild Road, Scarborough, ON M1V 5H5
Days of work: Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 2:30pm Saturday: 6:00am to 11:00am
Hours of work:40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary – CAD $22.75 per hour
Employment Terms: Full-time, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Cutting, trimming, and portioning various types of meat according to company specifications.
- Inspecting meat products for quality, freshness, and safety before and after cutting.
- Operating and maintaining meat-cutting machinery and tools, such as grinders, slicers, and knives.
- Adhering to safety and sanitation regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate protective gear and following proper handling and storage procedures.
- Maintaining clean equipment and work areas to prevent meat contamination and uphold health and sanitation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Receiving, inspecting, unloading, and safely storing meat products upon delivery.
- Training and supervising new meat-cutting staff as needed.
Additional experience and skill:
- Ability to safely handle and operate meat-cutting tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and regulations.
- Experience an asset
Educational Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary School
