Home child care provider (Permanent employment

Full time/ 30 to 40 hours per week)

Job details

Location: Oakville, On

Salary: 20.85 hourly 

Starts as soon as possible

Vacancies:1 vacancy

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Non-smoking Scent free

Work location: On site

Work setting: Employer’s home

Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Public transportation is available

 

Tasks

Supervise and care for children Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home Organize, activities such as games and outings for children Prepare and serve nutritious meals Tend to emotional well-being of children. 

 

Job Requirements 

Security and safety: Child welfare check

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

or equivalent experience

Experience: Experience an asset

Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
