Working Hours: 40 hrs per week, 5 days a week
Wage: $14.65~16.65 per hour(depends on experience)

Sweet Obsession has been Vancouver’s leading independent cake shop for the past 20 years. We use only the best (including real butter!)- no fillers, stabilizers, or preservatives. We are looking for an experienced individual to join our team as a Food Service Supervisors.

Main duties

•Train and coach new staff and demonstrate patience and positive attitude when providing training and delegating tasks
•Establish work schedules
•Efficiently punches customer orders, complaints, & cash handling accuracy guidelines
•Welcomes guests and ensuring professional conduct with customers and supporting staff on the shift
•Follows health, safety, and sanitary procedures and train staff
•Maintain Inventory records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, to make weekly orders
•Receive supplier orders, & ability to lift/ carry 30 to 50 LB of packages, chocolate & other food items
•Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
•Ensure food service and quality control
•Prepare and submit reports
•Prepare food order summaries for bakers

Employment Requirements

•Completion of secondary school is required.
•At least one-year supervisory experience in the food service/ coffee shop industry
•Flexible availability weekends, & holidays
