We have been creating unforgettable memories since 1993. The founder, Graham Rawlinson, President of Skyward Balloons has over thirty years of flying experience on single & multi-engine Aircraft, Jet Aircraft, Hot Air Balloons and Ultra-lights.

Skywards’ Pilots are the best in the industry and although it is not a Transport Canada requirement, most of our pilots are also Hot Air Balloon Flight Instructors and are licensed to fly airplanes. As a result, we have a perfect safety record. We fly passengers aged 8 and up, the oldest passenger we have flown being 94 years of age!

Job description:

Our company is currently looking for a balloon pilot.

The job is seasonal, full-time (30-40 hours/ week)

Education requirements:

No minimum education requirements, but must have Hot Air balloon Pilot Licence and First Aid Certificate.

Must demonstrate at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Must able to work in fast-paced environment, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual Dexterity.

Work is in rural area, remote location, On-site customer service.

Work site environment:

Outdoors, at heights, hot.

Personal Suitability:

Team player, reliability, initiative, Effective interpersonal skills, flexibility, Judgement, Organized, Client focus, excellent oral communication.

Additional Skills:

Operate off-road vehicle, operate communication devices, operate GPS and other navigation equipment.

Shift is early morning, evening and weekends.

Expected start date: 2021-05-01

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Permanent

Salary: $900.00-$1,200.00 per week
