General Farm Workers

Description

Nestled in a quite region, harnessing abundance of sunshine and rooted in rich soil. We have our own 5 acres of farmland where we grow blueberries, strawberries and black berries. Springland Winery produces a variety of unique and exceptional wines ranging from delicate blueberry wines, delectable dessert wines, to complex red wines. We are looking for 5 Farm workers to employ for the oncoming season. Their job duties will be as below:

Plant, fertilize, cultivate, spray, irrigate and harvest crop
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Follow food safety and security and animal bio-security procedures
Detect disease and health problems in crops
Examine produce for quality and prepare for market
Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops
Maintain or assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm infrastructure including barns, barnyards.
