Pay: $15.50 per hour
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Position Requires Flexibility – must be open to work weekends

Looking for a permanent full-time Material Handler for our trucking company. Minimal experience needed (1 year) but must be willing to learn as we will train specific skills as needed. Must be able and willing to move, load and unload materials between trucks and warehouse and assist with securing goods as needed. Will also perform other activities related to material handling including; sorting packing and unpacking. May also assist in taking and filling warehouse orders and assist in inventory tracking.
This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, heavy lifting and work in extreme cold and hot weather.
Candidate should understand that this is a physically demanding job.
Candidate should be a team player who is dependable, willing to learn and will easy adapt to any given situation.
Though not required for the position, it is recommended for candidate to have a car as our company location is remote and far from regular transit services.

Qualifying candidate must have;
-Ability to communicate in English
-High school or equivalent / Basic math skills
-Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 23 kg)
-Clear criminal record check
-Provide own safety equipment (steel toe shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves)
-Forklift training an asset but not required
