$18.00/hour – 40-60 hours/week – Seasonal – Starting April 2022 for 6 months – Groff Landscaping, 23901 Hwy 12, Sunderland, ON L0C 1H0 – admin@grofflandscaping.com

Assist with landscape construction.   Weed, prune and trim trees and plants.  Cut grass, rake and collect refuse. Remove litter and garbage.  Cart and spread topsoil and other materials.  Lay sod or seed. Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees.  Apply fertilizers  Repair and maintain equipment.  Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.

Language – English an asset

Education – No degree, certificate or diploma required

Experience an asset

Successful candidate to supply own steel-toes safety boots and gloves

Clean/valid driver's licence an asset but not a requirement

Employment conditions: Overtime, Early Morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Night

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities – fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity, attention to detail, good hand-eye co-ordination required.

Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling throughout day.

Work Site Environment – Outdoors, wet, damp, dusty, hot and cold

Personal Suitability – reliability, client focused, team player, dependability

Equipment Experience – Tractor, forklift, small engine equipment, roto-tiller, pick-up truck, chain saw, tractor mower, weed trimmer/edger

Work setting: Landscape contractor, Landscape Maintenance
