The right candidate will be a Full Stack Developer with the capacity to think independently in  coming  up with efficient solutions to challenging problems in a reasonable amount of time. You must be ready to work in a small team of developers with minimal supervision. Candidate must also be able to communicate with the development team clearly and effectively. 

Roles and responsibilities

• Build  customer-facing digital applications with best practices, latest tools and good design/architectural standards. 
•  Working closely with Product/UX owners, technical experts, and project teams, identify and communicate technical issues and recommend solutions.
•  Write computer code for software applications; participate in code reviews and testing to ensure quality, standards compliance, re-usability and ease of maintenance.
• Deliver effective and efficient applications by meeting key project milestones and ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget, and adhere to the corporate quality and security standards.

Qualifications and requirements

The selected candidate will demonstrate:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in application architecture, design & development.
• Excellent knowledge on cloud services like Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS)
• Hands on experience on Amazon Web Service’s IaaS and PaaS Services is a must with any related certification.
• Hands on Experience on Microsoft Azure for building, testing, deploying, and managing applications OR any related certifications on Containerization and Kubernetes.
• 4+ years of experience in Java 8, streams, lambdas, and concurrency APIs
•  4+ years of experience with Distributed systems and Micro services, with frameworks / libraries such as Spring Core, Spring Boot, or J2EE.
•  3+ years of experience in designing and developing asynchronous REST APIs
• 3+ years of experience with HTTP request methods and response status codes, and when to apply them 
• 2+ years of experience with at least one or two databases, such as RDBMS, Oracle, MySql, or Cassandra and use of Hibernate, ORMs.
• Knowledge on Python for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence with relevant certification
• University or College degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent field

Additional preferred skills:

•  2+ years of HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript (jQuery, Backbone/Angular/Ember) coding experience
•  3+ years of experience with Angular 6+
• Experience in Agile / scaled Agile frameworks and experience working in Scrum teams of some sort.
