Component Technician

Description

AvroTechnik provides comprehensive component maintenance and repair services. We are currently looking to expand our team with two Component Technicians.  

Job Duties:

• Carry out calibration and repair tasks on components in accordance with the manufacturer’s maintenance manuals
• Perform functional checks using specialized tooling
• Carry out dimensional checks using precision measuring tools
• Record and document required information in company work packages; ensure information is relevant, complete and correct
• Troubleshoot failure to identify maintenance requirements
• Ensure the maintenance activities are safely conducted in accordance with the manufacturers requirements and the company policy manuals
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Experience & Qualifications:

• Hydraulic and PCB/electronic component experience considered an asset
• Successfully completed a relevant post-secondary course or apprenticeship program OR currently registered in a relevant apprenticeship program
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Sufficient English language skills, a resume and references are required.

Position Type: Full Time, 40 hour work week, at least 2 years

Schedule: Monday – Friday; Regular shift scheduled 7:00am – 3:30pm

Wage: $25/hour
