Han Kook Meat Trading is located at 2211 Rosser Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5C 5E3 and 3514 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC V5R 5L7. We are currently looking for full time Meat Cutters. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.

Position: Meat cutter – retail or wholesale
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: CAD$18.00/hour
Working Hours: 8 hrs/day, 40hrs/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay, Hot lunch at work, Extended medical insurance offered after 6 months of full time employment

Job Duties:
• Cut, trim, grind, and prepare meats to specification or customer’s orders;
• Sharpen and adjust cutting equipment;
• Display cuts of meat;
• Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery;
• Keep inventory of meat sales and order meat supplies;
• Clean equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards;
• Ensure food storage conditions are adequate.

Job requirements:
• Completion of secondary school ;
• Completion of a college or other meat-cutting training program, or a three-year meat cutting apprenticeship
