Terms of employment: Permanent, Full Time

Wage: $29.50 Hourly, for 40.00 Hours per week

Position Number: 1

Location: Several locations in the Lower Mainland & Fraser Valley.

Education: A three-year college diploma in drafting technology or a degree in Architecture.

Experience: Several years of experience as an Architectural Draftsperson or as an Architect is required.

Languages: Written and Spoken English is required.

Duties:
Preparation of Architectural design and drawings.
Prepare preliminary building layouts.
Write technical reports and complete documentation packages and produce drawing review and circulation.
Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates.
Verify design drawings to match specifications and design data.
Coordination with all consultants, engineers and architects
Develop and maintain working relationships with Clients, Contractors, Subordinated workers and Architects.

Essential Skills:
Attention to detail and a strong understanding of construction processes and methods. Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing.
