Automotive Electrician Helper

Description

WEST EAST AUTO GROUP is looking to hire an automotive electrician helper to work in our busy auto service center.

Your duties will include the following:

• Servicing of electrical automotive parts.
• Computer testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications, including CO emission testing systems, wheel camber and wheel alignment systems
• Diagnosing faults, malfunctions and repairing of the vehicle electrical systems, including anti-skid, cruise control and obstacle апd obstacle detection systems fог adaptive сruise controls, and confirming findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace the unit
• Repairing and replacing faulty wiring, electrical systems or components
• Installing and troubleshooting immobilizer and alarm systems
• Installing the additional equipment for alternative fuels
• Repairing damaged electrical parts, and maintaining electrical systems
• Providing estimated time and cost for repairs
• Completing reports to record problems and work performed

A successful candidate will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Proven work experience for 2 to 3 years
• Excellent knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to operate electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work standing or in a crouched position for long periods, handle heavy loads.
• Ability to work under pressure
