Schedule: 35 hours / week

Wage: $33.00 / hour

Location: 4-3571 Viking Way, Richmond, BC

Requirements:
– Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Food related engineering discipline
– Minimum 3 years of experience as a chemical engineer
– Able to read and follow safety instructions

Job Duties:
– Oversee the use and development of chemical products in the manufacturing process of various soy products
– Evaluate chemical process technology and equipment to suit production specifications
– Establish quality control procedures and conduct operations to ensure consistency and meeting regulations
– Ensure quality control specifications are met for raw materials, production, and waste
– Conduct research to into development and improvement of chemical engineering processes
– Evaluate chemical process technology and equipment and determine production specifications
– Evaluate and test chemical processing materials and methods used in soy production
– Prepare reports on chemical developments to the owner
– Maintain stock and inventory of chemicals
