Description

Employment Tenure: Part-time & Contract (3-4 days Live-In per week)

Salary: $13.60/hr

Employment conditions: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Night, Flexible hours, to be determined

Job requirements

Education
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience

Experience
1 year to less than 2 years

Specific Skills
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Take children to and from school and to appointments, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Supervise and care for children, Tend to emotional well-being of children

Personal Suitability
Organized, Excellent oral communication, Effective interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Reliability

Additional Skills
Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Emergency child care first aid and CPR, CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
