Main duties

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Set up and stock food items and other necessary supplies
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensures cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in the various kitchen areas including
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Foster an environment of teamwork
• Perform kitchen work station opening and closing duties as required
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Follow direction and multi-task with a sense of urgency
• Complete kitchen tasks such as line setup, food preparation, cleanup and breakdown

Employment Requirements

• Completion of Secondary School
• 1 to 2 years of Commercial cooking experience is required
