Farm Workers

Description

Sunworks Farm, near Armena, AB., requires 3 full time Farm Workers for their organic and holistic farming operation. Duties will include:
• Feed and tend animals;
• Load and transport animals;
• Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens;
• Write daily basic progress reports;
• Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops;
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment;

Requirements:
• No educational requirements
• Experience an asset: should have an affinity with (organic) farm work and farm animals
• Valid driver’s licence,
• Must be willing to work weekends
• Must be able to handle a physically demanding job

Compensation: $16.00-$17.00/hr for a 40-44hrs/week
