In-Home Caregiver/Nanny

Description

This is an In-Home Caregiver/Nanny position which requires care of a 6-year-old girl.

Main duties involve assisting the mother in child supervision and household management.

Childcare duties require supervising and organizing activities for the child appropriate to her age, taking her to and from school and to extracurricular activities and events, assisting with homework and other educational activities, preparing and serving nutritious meals, tending to her emotional well-being, providing discipline according to the methods requested by the mother, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Household duties require cooking and preparing meals, doing laundry, washing dishes, cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, keeping the kitchen tidy, keeping a grocery list, doing grocery, planning meals, providing plant care, changing sheets/linens, maintaining the overall tidiness and order in the house and performing other routine housekeeping duties.

Employment requirements: Previous childcare or household management experience, certificate of a training program in caregiving and current certificate of CPR and First Aid training. Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.

Contract for this position is 2-3 years. Salary wage is $12.65 per hour. WSBC benefits included.​
