Position: Home Support Worker
Location of Work: West Vancouver, British Columbia (V7V 2T1)
Start date: As soon as possible

Wage: $19.50 per hour
Vacation: 4% of gross salary or 10 paid vacation days
Nature of employment: Permanent, full-time
Hours per week: 40
Description: The home support worker will provide care and company to two adults, a senior citizen and an individual with a physical disability. Home support worker will assist with personal care duties as required, assist with preparation and serving of meals according to dietary requirements and restrictions, and assist with housekeeping duties including laundry, washing dishes, making beds, vacuuming, grocery shopping, and errands.
Position Requirements: Completion of secondary school, and at least one year of full time, paid experience as a caregiver or in a related field or occupation in the past three years. CPR and/or First Aid training preferred. Must be able to communicate in English. The ideal candidate will be willing to work a flexible schedule and will need to variously work weekdays and weekends.
