Book Kyung Ban Jeoun Restaurant is located 1638 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC V6G 1C7. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time First Cook (Chinese Food Cook). If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.

Position: First Cook
Wages: CAD$25.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay

Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook various Chinese food items including chicken, pork, seafood, and tofu dishes, noodle & rice dishes, and other items on the menu;
• Prepare special house sauces;
• Assist with chef in planning menus;
• Oversee kitchen operations;
• Train other staff with respect to food preparation.

Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience;
• Chinese food cooking experience an asset.
