Personal Support Worker

Description

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist residents with their personal care (baths, getting dressed, oral care, skin care, hair care, etc.)
• Monitor resident well-being
• Communicate regularly with nursing staff
• Respond to resident calls
• Assist residents to dining room and social activities
• Serve meals to residents
• Light cleaning duties
• Other tasks may be assigned as needed

Education

• Completion of secondary school or equivalent
• Applicants having a Personal Support Worker Training/Certification may qualify for more senior roles
• CPR and First Aid Certification will be provided by the employer
