HM Tax Services Ltd is looking for a full-time and permanent Accountant to work at #100-6338 Fraser Street, Vancouver, BC, V5W 3A4. (Even though this is a full-time position, part-time job seekers are encouraged to apply as well.) Wages will be $31.25/hr and 40 hours/week. Vacation will be 4% of gross salary.

Job Description: 

• Plan and establish administer accounting systems with managers;
• Prepare and file corporation financial statements, reports and corporate tax returns;
• Prepare and file personal income tax returns;
• Prepare financial, business and tax advice for individuals, organization, business and other establishments;
• Analysis financial statement and reports;
• Assist in CRA GST and Provincial tax reviews;
• Develop and establish strategies upon clients request;
• Assist in supervise articling students, bookkeepers and administrivia technicians with managers;
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of Accounting experience
• 1+ years of Public accounting is beneficial
• Experience in preparing personal and corporate tax returns
• Experience with Quickbooks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office and Word, Matlab
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to problem solve independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in teams and individually
