• Permanent or Contract Employment: Permanent Full-Time Employment
• Hours Per Week: 40 hours/week (8 hours/day)
• Work Days: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Wage Offered: $16.00/hour
• Vacation: Two (2) weeks vacation, as per BC Employment Standards

• Education and Experience: Completion of the Secondary School Certificate
• Other Experience Requirements: No Formal Experience
• Credentials and Certifications: Child First Aid Certificate and CPR is an asset
• Age of Children: Toddler to Pre-School (1-3 years), School Age (6-12 years), and Over 12 years
• Work Location Information: Work in Employer's/Client's home
• Other Requirements: Medical Exam, Criminal Record Check

• Main Duties of Position: To care for three (3) children, aged 2, 11, and 15 years old
  • ​Tend to emotional well-being of the children
  • Supervise and care for the children in private residence
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children
  • Dressing and feeding the toddler
  • Organize, activities such as games and outings for the children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
  • Help the children with homework
  • Take children to and from school and appointment

• Additional Skills: Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Personal Suitability: Initiative, Organized, Judgment, Reliability, Effective Interpersonal Skills
