Job Title: Child Caregiver – Private Home (NOC 4411) Location: 6759 Sperling Ave. Burnaby, British Columbia V5E 2V3 Wage & Hours: $16/hour, 30 hours/week Positions Available: 3 Employment Type: Fulltime, Permanent   Job Description

• Plan, prepare and serve nutritious children’s meals
• Supervise and care for children
• Encourage children’s emotional well-being and help them develop socially
• Carry-out light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the employers residence
• Discipline children in accordance with the parenting method
• Teach kids personal hygiene and social development
• Take complete responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
• Organize children’s activities such as games and outings
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties

  Job Requirement

• Completion of secondary school is required
• Completion of a training program in child care or related field is required
• First aid certification and CPR training is a plus
• 3+ years in child care household management is required
• Reliable and highly organized
• Effective interpersonal skills
