Child caregiver – private home

Description

We are a family of four in Richmond BC, looking for a child caregiver to take care of our daughter and son in our home. 

Please note this job is a contract for the duration of 24 months. Salary is $15.00 per hour， 40 hours per week. Anticipated start date is Jun 1, 2019.

Job requirements:

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 6 months’ child-care related training or at least one year full-time paid caregiver work experience in the past 3 years.

Security and Safety: Medical exam, Criminal record check

Children's Ages: Infant (3 months – 11 months), Toddler to pre-school (1 – 3 years)

Duties of the job position:

Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Supervise and care for children.

Work Setting: Employer's home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.
