Job Description:

Reliable caregiver is required to help in looking after an elder in Surrey, BC.

Duties:               

·      Provide companionship and personal care 

·      Prepare and serve nutritious meals

·      Mend clothing and linens

·      Administer medications

·      Assist in bathing, dressing up and other aspects of personal hygiene

·      Assist in day-to-day activities such as regular exercise e.g. walk

·      Take elder out for short walks to nearby parks.

·      Entertain elder by reading newspapers and magazines.

·      Accompany elder while doctor's appointments.

·      Keep records of elder’s physical health and medications.

Employment Requirements:

·      Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

·      No experience is required

·      Language: English

·      First Aid Certificate or Health Care Aide Certificate is an asset

·      Criminal record check
