Primary Job Duties:
- Set up and improve the current administer accounting systems and prepare financial information including cash flow reports, expenditure reports
- Examine and analyze accounting records that contains journal and ledger entries, daily statement, inventory, expenditures and other accounting financial records and documents to ensure financial statements and report accuracy, consistency and compliant with the GAAP standard
- Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results
- Develop and maintain cost finding, reporting and internal control procedures and examine financial accounts and records and prepare income tax returns from accounting records
- Examine and analyze financial statement and records to provide financial, business and tax advice base on company fundamental status such as income tax return, write-down off etc.
- Perform and optimize business operating budget based on monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position
- Assist with preparation of internal and external financial statements and provide management with information vital to the decision-making process
Minimum qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, financial, auditing or a related field or equivalent certificate is preferred
- 3+ years professional experience in accounting, auditing and/or internal control role is required
- Experience in developing policies and guidelines, processes and procedures within a multinational institution is required
- Strong financial and accounting knowledge, understanding of audit standards and practices, knowledge of information system audit practices and techniques will be an asset
- Knowledge and technical ability in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks and SAP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, confidence and the ability to work with all levels of staff and management within a large international company
- Exposure to hospitality, international trade, logistics supply chain industry and in multinational trading corporations will be preferred
- CPA or CFA designation is preferred
