Big Chicken Town Restaurant is located at #15-228 Schoolhouse Street, Coquitlam, BC V3K 6V7. We are currently looking for permanent, full time Korean Food Cooks. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.

 

Position: Cook

Wage: CAD$16.25/hour

Types: Full-time, Permanent

Working hours: 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week

Benefits: 4% of vacation pay, Free meals at work, Tips

 

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook various Korean food items including Korean-style fried chickens, Kimchi & other fried rice dishes, fishcake & clam soups, spicy rice cakes, appetizers, and other Korean dishes on the menu;
• Maintain inventory and records of foods;
• Oversee kitchen operations;
• Train other kitchen staff with respect to food preparation.

 

Job Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school;
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience.
